Juno

My name is Juno, and I am a tripod with gorgeous honey-colored eyes. I came into the rescue in a horrible state with an injury so severe to my back left leg, that it had to be amputated. Since I was very malnourished, the healing was extremely slow, and I had follow-up procedures to close my wound. I have been through some stuff. However, I am more than just a dog missing a leg. I love life, walks, playing by the river and belly rubs. I am a gentle sweetheart. Due to my size and missing my hind leg I do not qualify for a marathon prep buddy, but who would not get a little tired from playing.

Ideal Home

A loving home that understands my unique needs as a tripod. While I enjoy play, I may tire more easily and am not suited for strenuous, long-distance running activities.

Ongoing Health

I had my back left leg amputated due to a severe injury. My healing process was slow due to malnourishment, and I underwent follow-up procedures to close my wound.

Transporation

I am located in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Once adopted, I can be flown to a forever home in Canada or the United States with a volunteer flight angel to the nearest airport.
