Meet Drago! This handsome German Shepherd x Rottweiler mix is estimated to be born around November 5, 2025, and weighed 40lbs as of May 5, 2026. Drago's journey began with heartbreak, but we're determined to ensure his story has a happy ending. He arrived at the shelter with his seven siblings and their mother. Sadly, while the puppies were given a chance, their mom was not as fortunate. Despite such a rough start, Drago is full of love, hope, and puppy joy. He's a happy, treat-motivated boy who is eager to learn and even more eager to please his people. With his playful puppy energy and sweet personality, Drago is ready to discover just how wonderful life can truly be. His foster family, who love him dearly, even got a DNA test to learn more about this charming pup!

Whether it's learning new tricks for treats, exploring the world on adventures, or curling up after a fun day of play, Drago is ready to be someone's loyal best friend. Drago is vaccinated with age-appropriate vaccines and is microchipped.
Training & Support
Kennel and potty training are in progress. Drago is dog, cat, and kid friendly.
Application Details:
- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- An alteration contract needs to be signed by the adopter to complete the adoption.
- Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year.
- Listed breed is based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff.
- Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.
- All of our adopters are invited to join our Alum Pupdates Facebook group, to share their story and their adorable pup with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters!
- We have a strong adoption process, backed by reviews from previous adopters.
