Ned

I'm Ned, a handsome boy with a coat that looks black but shines a beautiful brown in the sun, complete with adorable white toes! While I might have a slightly grumpy expression, don't let it fool you – I'm a happy and loving pup through and through. I arrived here with my siblings, Dusty and Lucky, as "The Three Amigos," all the way from New Mexico.

Ideal Home

I thrive in a home with at least one other canine companion to lean on, cuddle with, and wrestle. I'm not built to be an only dog! I also love to be on the sofa and in bed, so a family that enjoys snuggling is a must.

Ongoing Health

I'm a fast drinker, so my foster mom rations my water to help me slow down.

Training & Support

I'm already potty trained and trustworthy enough to be left out while you're gone. I know "sit," "off," "come," and "wait," and I'm working on "down" and "stay." Training classes sound like a fun bonding experience! I'm a bit of a counter surfer, but I'm learning that "off" means I shouldn't do it. My bark can be a bit high-pitched when I'm scared, but it doesn't happen often. I love to wrestle with dogs of all sizes and show off my "Jaws" personality, which I think makes me look tough! My "Snuffles" nickname comes from my love of digging for every kibble in my snuffle mat. I'm friendly with children and enjoy meeting new people, though I can bark and jump a little initially. I haven't met a cat yet, but I'm curious!
