ANGUS-Big Puppy

Meet Angus! He's a big, goofy puppy with a heart full of love and a wagging tail that could power a small windmill. Angus was found wandering near a local creek with his mom, Gloria, and brought to the Hico Animal Shelter. Now vetted and ready for his forever family, he's eager to bring endless joy and a touch of playful chaos to your home.

Ideal Home

Angus would thrive in an active household with older children who can keep up with his boundless energy. A well-fenced yard is a must for him to romp and play. Due to his size and exuberance, he's a bit too much for cats and would likely do best in a home without them.

Ongoing Health

Angus has been neutered and is up-to-date on all his vaccinations, including rabies and bordatella. He is heartworm negative and is on preventatives for fleas, ticks, heartworms, and other parasites.

Training & Support

As a big puppy, Angus is still learning the ropes! He's working on leash manners and can get a bit excited, sometimes chewing on the leash. He also enjoys chewing on things as puppies do. While he's doggie door trained, his house-training is still in progress. He loves car rides but needs to be safely restrained due to his playful nature. With patience and consistent guidance, he'll surely master these skills!

• If necessary, the transport fee outside of Texas is $300.

Angus is currently located in Hico, Texas. We work with trusted, reputable transport services to deliver our dogs to their new families if they are located outside of Texas.
