Zane

Zane is a puppy with a past as mysterious as a dimly lit Walmart parking lot, where he was found. Despite his uncertain beginnings, Zane is a curious pup who enjoys a good ear scratch. He's still learning the ropes of being a well-behaved dog, so he'll need a patient hand and some guidance as he discovers his boundaries. Zane walks well on a leash and is comfortable in his crate and outdoor pen. He's shown interest in other dogs, sometimes with a bit of barking, but he doesn't seem overly bothered by them. His curiosity extends to chickens, though he politely walked away when they didn't reciprocate his playful overtures. We haven't had the chance to see how he interacts with cats or children yet. The good news is that Zane is already housebroken and travels like a pro in the car!

Ideal Home

A home that can provide patient guidance for a puppy still learning boundaries. We do not yet know how Zane will react to cats or children.

Zane is spayed/neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Zane is a puppy and learning boundaries, so will need some guidance. He does reasonably well on a leash and goes into his crate and outdoor pen easily. He has seen other dogs and will bark and vocalize (especially in his crate), but isn't overly bothered by them. He has even seen chickens and was curious and wanted to play, but walked away when they didn't return the sentiment.
