My name is Josiethough my foster mom lovingly calls me Jojo. I was just a puppy trying to survive the Texas heat. I was searching for the cold air that came out every time the doors opened, hoping to cool off for just a moment. I didn't know if anyone would notice me... but someone finally did, and my life changed. If there's a party happening, I'm the life of it! I love making friends of all kinds—furry ones, and two-legged non-furries too. People, pups, laughter, energy... count me in. I have a big, joyful heart and I share it freely with everyone I meet. I'm almost a year old now, and I'm already a pretty impressive girl if I do say so myself. I know exactly where I need to go potty, and I can even ring the bells to let you know when it's time to head outside. I love making my people proud and I'm always eager to learn more. Josie is such an adventurous girl. She loves the water and is great at paddleboarding. She's always ready for her next adventure! I already know how to sit, lay down, and go to bed, and we're working really hard on building a strong off-leash recall. I'm making great progress. I absolutely love the outdoors—water, fresh air, running full speed, and spontaneous zoomies that come straight from happiness. Walks are my favorite thing ever because they mean new sights, new sounds, and new stories waiting to happen. To me, every day is a brand-new adventure, and I'm just waiting for the right person to explore it with. At mealtime, you'll usually find me lying near my human during meal prep, patiently hoping gravity will do its thing. It usually doesn't—she's very careful—but because I'm a good girl, I almost always get a little something anyway. A girl's gotta try, right? I'm curious, inquisitive, and super smart, with a natural protector's heart. I'm loyal, loving, and deeply devoted to my people. When I bond, it's with my whole heart. If you're looking for a loyal, adventurous, affectionate companion who will grow and learn right alongside you, I'm ready. My next adventure is waiting—and I hope it's with you.
