Bella, a 1-year-old German Shepherd mix weighing about 55lbs, is a truly special girl who has overcome a difficult past. Found tied to a post at only one year old, she was left with nothing but a note. Despite this heartbreaking beginning, Bella has blossomed into a bright, affectionate, and spirited companion who is ready for a forever home. She is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and on heartworm prevention, ensuring she's healthy and ready for her new life.
Ideal Home
Bella is looking for an active home that can provide continued training, daily exercise, and plenty of affection. She thrives with engaging activities and would do best with a family who understands her need for structure and enrichment. Due to her tendency to chase cats, she'll need to be in a home without them.
Ongoing Health
Bella is healthy and up-to-date on all her veterinary needs, including vaccinations, spaying, microchipping, deworming, and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Bella is a smart and eager-to-please dog who is learning quickly. She walks nicely on a harness, knows "sit" and "stay," and is working on not jumping up when excited. She is fully housetrained and crate-trained, and loves her crate as her personal treasure chest for toys and treats. While she is learning not to chew inappropriately, she'll do best with plenty of appropriate toys and activities to keep her occupied. A family committed to continued training and consistent positive reinforcement will help her shine.
