Eevee and Ellie are a bonded pair of senior canine companions who have shared their lives and will continue to do so in their next chapter. Eevee, a 13-year-old Pomeranian/Papillon mix, is a confident and expressive 13-pound girl who knows several commands and always comes when called. She is protective of her best friend, Ellie, and will alert you to any boisterous newcomers. Ellie, a 16-year-old German Shepherd mix, is a 33-pound beauty who is more reserved but deeply affectionate once she trusts you. She enjoys leisurely walks, beach trips, and car rides, especially when Eevee is by her side. These two share beds, meals, and a love for cozy afternoons. Both are spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
Ideal Home
A patient and structured environment where these two loyal girls can feel secure and loved. They would do well with gentle children and need a home that understands their senior needs. Ellie prefers a peaceful environment without raised voices.
Ongoing Health
Eevee has a collapsed trachea and sensitive skin that requires careful management, including dental chews and monitoring for potential extractions. Ellie's eyes are becoming cloudy with age, and she may have some hearing decline. A benign lump is being monitored by her veterinarian.
Training & Support
Eevee responds well to gentle reassurance and positive reinforcement. Ellie takes a little time to warm up but blossoms with trust. Patience and understanding will be key to helping them settle into their new home.
