My name is Fiona, and I'm a sweet, energetic bundle of joy! I'm a loyal companion who thrives on attention and absolutely adore children. While I'm still learning not to jump, I'm getting better every day. I'm not a fan of cats when they run, as it triggers my chase instinct. I tend to be a bit shy around men at first, but with some patience and a few treats, I warm up quickly and become your best friend. I enjoy the company of other dogs, but I get a little nervous around those with high energy levels like mine.
I absolutely love going for runs and am a big fan of my chew toys! I do well in my crate after I've had plenty of exercise. If you have dogs at home, a meet-and-greet beforehand would help me feel more comfortable. Water is another one of my favorite things; I have my own kiddie pool that I adore, second only to following my foster mama around! I've been living with two children, aged two and seven, and I love them dearly. When I'm not being a whirlwind of fun, I'm a big cuddle bug who loves to give hugs and kisses. I'm a big baby with a heart of gold! I love to "talk" and bark when I'm excited, my tail wags like crazy, and I'll do spins to show off how cute and smart I am. I learn routines quickly and just want to be around my people. I know my perfect home is out there and I'd love to meet you to see if you're the one! I'm almost 2 years old and weigh approximately 40 pounds.
Ideal Home
Fiona would thrive in a home that can provide plenty of exercise and attention. She loves children and is looking for a family that understands she can be a bit shy with men initially but warms up with time and treats. She's not a fan of cats that run. She also prefers to live with dogs that have a lower energy level than her.

Training & Support
Fiona is working on not jumping, but she is catching on quickly. She enjoys positive reinforcement and loves her chew toys. She is also crate trained and does well after exercise.
