Brunson - The Big Hearted

Meet Brunson, a 2-year-old, 25-pound bundle of love! Brunson's journey began when he was sadly abandoned behind a government building in Puerto Rico. For over a month, he bravely navigated the challenges of surviving alone, often facing aggression from other dogs despite his naturally friendly demeanor. Yet, through it all, Brunson's spirit remained unbroken. He continued to approach the world with an open heart, always hopeful for connection. When rescuers finally found him, they were met with a dog brimming with affection, trust, and an unwavering belief in kindness.

Now in foster care in Puerto Rico, Brunson has truly blossomed into the most wonderful companion. He's a true cuddle bug, happiest when snuggled up close with his favorite humans. This sweet boy is quite laid-back and enjoys leisurely afternoons spent lounging on the couch. He greets everyone he meets with genuine warmth and gets along wonderfully with children, cats, and other dogs. His foster family describes him as a dog who simply wants to share love and receive it in return. Brunson is ready for a family who will cherish him and never let him go again.
