Meet Saint, a handsome 4-year-old male Husky with a heart of gold and a love for life! Saint has overcome a lot, having been found as a stray and bravely battled Parvo. He's now fully recovered, vetted, and ready to find his forever home. He’s a social butterfly who enjoys bike rides, leisurely walks, and even joining his humans for a puppuccino at Starbucks. Saint is also a big fan of cuddles on the couch and has a hilarious obsession with ice cream!
Ideal Home
Saint would do best in a home with experienced large breed owners, ideally those familiar with the unique charm of Huskies. He needs a family who understands and can embrace his energetic nature, vocal communication style, and the "Husky hair" that comes with the breed.
Ongoing Health
Saint is a survivor! He's fully vetted and has made a remarkable recovery from Parvo. No ongoing health concerns have been noted.
Training & Support
Saint is crate and house-trained and walks well on a leash. However, he does exhibit some resource guarding tendencies, especially with high-value items like bones, and prefers to enjoy these in the privacy of his crate. He can also be quite vocal when he needs something, like going outside. Understanding his cues and providing him with his own space for special treats will help him thrive. He enjoys being brushed, which is great for managing his abundant coat!
