Peggy is a stunningly gorgeous, approximately 52-pound female American Staffordshire terrier ready for her loving forever family. She’s a loving, fun, and well-behaved girl who enjoys her walks and rides great in the car. Peggy is very affectionate and wants to be part of a loving family, greeting everyone with a great demeanor and disposition. She has been dog-friendly with other friendly dogs, but proper introductions are encouraged. Peggy was rescued from a high-kill shelter on the day she was scheduled to be euthanized and has been a true love bug ever since, deserving of a loving home. She is spayed, microchipped, has received a comprehensive fecal test and wellness exam, and is up-to-date on vaccinations. Peggy comes with some of her favorite toys and bed, ready for fun adventures.
Her foster shares that Peggy truly feels at home, sometimes relaxing in an open crate in the office. She loves tummy rubs and is incredibly loving and affectionate, accepting of grooming and bathing. Peggy is very trusting and enjoys short, manageable bursts of zoomies. She is food-motivated, which will make training easy. Peggy greets people gently and takes treats with care. Even when faced with a barking and aggressive neighbor's dog, Peggy remains unfazed, simply wagging her tail and wanting to make a new friend. Peggy is a gem of a dog who loves her family and desires nothing more than to be part of a loving household. She is exceptionally well-behaved in the home and would be a fantastic addition to any caring family looking for a two-year-old staffie beauty.
