He's a curious soul who enjoys a good toy and a leisurely stroll on a sunny day. Max would thrive with a patient and understanding owner who can help him continue to build confidence and bond through positive reinforcement.

Ideal Home

Max would be happiest as the only pet in the home, where he can feel safe and secure without the stress of animal interactions. He would also do best in a home with older children (15+) who understand how to interact gently and respectfully with him, and when to give him his space. Experience with positive reinforcement training or a willingness to learn is essential.

Ongoing Health

Max will likely need more frequent vet appointments due to his age and a history of skin issues. He would do best with an owner who has an established relationship with a veterinarian.

Training & Support

Positive reinforcement training will be beneficial for Max, helping him learn basic cues, build confidence, and strengthen his bond with his new family. Routine brushing will help manage shedding.
