Beau 13yr

Beau is a sweet 13-year-old Cocker Spaniel mix who was found as a stray and is now looking for his forever retirement home. Despite a rough start in life, Beau is a happy-go-lucky boy who lives for his ball and loves to spend time with his people. He's affectionate, loving, and would make a wonderful companion. Beau is deaf due to un-treated ear infections, but this doesn't slow him down one bit!

Ideal Home

Beau would do best in a home where he can enjoy his golden years being loved and cared for.

Ongoing Health

Beau's ear canals are hardened and closed, which makes him prone to future infections. He is currently undergoing daily ear flushing with Liquid Health K9 ear cleansing solution to keep him infection-free. He is also on thyroid medication and has successfully lost weight after being diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Beau is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Beau is a deaf dog, so he will respond best to visual cues and a consistent routine.

Beau is currently in Mentor, OH. He will need to be picked up at his foster home. While transport is not typically available, we may be able to assist in some cases.
