Octavia

Octavia is such a well-mannered and smart girl! She engages with enthusiasm, yet her paws stay mostly planted on the ground. Her tail is always wagging, and her face is bright with a grin. She knows her commands and is a gem already sparkling.

Ideal Home

Octavia would thrive in a home where she can continue to shine. We recommend bringing all household members, especially those under 18 and any decision-makers, to meet her.

Ongoing Health

All dogs are spayed/neutered and vaccinated before adoption.

Training & Support

Octavia is already a gem who knows her commands! We recommend slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions with any resident dogs, allowing them time to decompress after arriving at their new home. Dog-to-dog meet and greets can be arranged here at the shelter.

• All household members should be present to meet dogs.
• Proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination is required for any resident dogs meeting Octavia.

Transporation

Octavia is located at Chicago Animal Care and Control, 2741 S. Western Ave., Chicago, IL. Walk-in visitors are welcome daily from 12pm to 7pm. If you plan to adopt the same day, please arrive before 5:30pm. Visitors arriving after 5:30pm can still view animals until 7pm.
