About Sydney

Sydney is an adventurous, incredibly smart, and energetic 8-10 month old spayed female Border Collie/Cattle Dog mix with a sunny, friendly personality. She arrived from an overcrowded shelter in Idaho and is eager to learn and become a wonderful companion. Sydney sticks close to her people, is curious about cats (though might chase if they run), and is a little wary of horses. She's proven to be a good hiking partner with decent off-leash recall, sometimes requiring a vibration collar to redirect her attention from distractions like squirrels. She gets along great with other dogs, is not shy or skittish, and stays within fences nicely. Sydney would be an excellent companion for outdoor adventures like hiking, camping, and exploring. She currently weighs 30 lbs and is expected to reach a mature weight of 35-40 lbs.
