Hi there! My name is Bandit, and I'm a delightful female German Shepherd mix with a touch of Husky flair, making me extra special! I was born on July 21, 2025, and I'm growing into my paws at a strong 71 pounds. I'm already spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all my vaccines and preventions. I'm a very good girl and took all my medicine like a champ, especially when it was mixed with tasty wet food.
I'm a bundle of energy and excitement, just like most young shepherds. I dream of an active family who loves playtime and spending time outdoors. Fetching a ball is one of my favorite games, and I also enjoy a good chew bone. I have a blast playing with my siblings, and I can even keep up with the big dogs – my best friend is a Great Dane! Stuffed toys don't stand a chance with me; I love seeing how fast I can de-stuff them, creating a snowy wonderland!
When it comes to people, I'm a total sweetheart. I love to snuggle and will happily shower you with kisses. Rub my chest or belly, and I'll melt right into your lap. I'm also great with the foster grandkids, who are 4 and 8 years old. Sometimes I get a little overexcited and might accidentally knock over the little ones, but I always apologize with lots of kisses!
Ideal Home
I'm looking for an active family who enjoys playtime and being outdoors. I'm unsure how I'd do with a friendly feline, as the cat I know prefers to keep her distance. I can sometimes get excited and accidentally knock over small children, so a family who can help me learn gentleness would be wonderful.
Ongoing Health
I am spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccines and preventions.
Training & Support
I am house-trained and use a doggy door. I am still working on crate training and getting more comfortable meeting new people. I can be a little reserved at first, but with patience, encouragement, and a few treats, I warm up quickly.
