Sadie is a playful and energetic young girl with a gentle heart, ready to find her forever home! She's a 1-year-and-3-month-old mixed breed, weighing around 26.5 lbs. Sadie can be a little cautious when meeting new people, but with patience and kind affection, she quickly begins to relax and reveal her sweet personality. She absolutely loves to run, play, and especially enjoys hugs and cuddles once she feels safe. Sadie is joyful, loving, and full of life. She was found abandoned with her siblings in October 2024 and has been waiting for her chance to experience a loving home ever since.
Ideal Home
Sadie would thrive in a home that understands her need for a little time to build trust and is willing to give her the love she deserves. A home with a fenced backyard is a must, and an active family that enjoys outdoor activities would be a great fit. Families with a genuine intention to rescue a dog, a deep understanding of rescued street animals and their behaviors, and experience in dog behavior and training (or a willingness to hire a trainer) are ideal. Sadie is not house-trained and requires high tolerance and patience for a rescued puppy.
Ongoing Health
Sadie has received a comprehensive health protocol including spay/neuter, DHPPI and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, deworming, microchipping, a 4DX test, a negative heartworm test, and monthly Nexgard Spectra (fleas, ticks, and heartworm prevention). She has a health certificate and vaccine booklet.
Training & Support
Sadie is not house-trained. It's essential to understand that rescued dogs may have experienced trauma and may require an adjustment period. Patience, understanding, a safe and loving environment, and establishing a routine with clear boundaries are crucial for Sadie's success and to build a strong bond.
