Nona is a delightful 1-year-old, 50 lb spayed female Staffie mix who is ready to bring joy and laughter into her forever home! She's currently being fostered in Texas but can travel to approved adopters. Nona is in her "older puppy era," blossoming with confidence and a playful spirit. Her sturdy, low-rider build is as endearing as her enthusiastic greetings and zoomies around the yard. She loves to be near her people, offering a happy wiggle and a wagging tail. Nona is social and enjoys meeting new friends, including children, and has experience with other dogs. She's clever, motivated by toys and treats, and has already mastered "sit"! While she's a bit of a shy watchdog, she'll alert you to anything unusual. Her adorable underbite adds to her unique charm.
Ideal Home
Nona would thrive in a home with a confident canine companion who respects personal space and is happy to share the spotlight. She could also be happy as the sole pet, soaking up all the attention. We believe she would do well in a calm home with respectful, well-mannered children who understand how to interact with an older puppy.

Training & Support
Nona is crate trained and doing well with potty training, needing continued reinforcement of her routine. She is working on her leash manners and can be a bit shy around new things. She is highly motivated by toys and treats, making training enjoyable.

Transporation
Nona is currently located in Texas and can be transported out of state when matched with an approved adopter. Transport is included in the adoption donation and runs every few weeks.
