Alaska Harris

Meet Alaska! This gorgeous boy is approximately 4 years old and weighs around 45 pounds. He found himself in a tough spot when he arrived at a high-kill shelter in Houston, Texas. Thankfully, he's heartworm negative and is learning all about the good life with his foster family. Alaska is getting used to being around other dogs, but slow introductions are a must.

Ideal Home

Alaska is ready to find his forever family and show off the skills he's learned, like potty training and basic commands. He's also learning not to growl at his canine siblings.

Alaska is heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Alaska has been taught the basics by his foster family, including potty training and a few basic commands. He is learning to not growl at other dogs, so slow introductions will be important in his new home.
