Gus is a sweet pup who can be a little shy at first and may take some time to feel comfortable, so a patient, understanding home will help him thrive. Once he settles in, his gentle nature really shines. He is fully crate trained and has never had an accident in the house. Gus is also working on leash training and continues to make steady progress. Like most puppies, Gus is still learning his manners. He may bark when he encounters new people or other dogs, and he loves to chew, so he’ll benefit from plenty of appropriate toys and supervision as he grows. Gus enjoys being around our three senior dogs, but he should be supervised, as he likes to play rough at times and can occasionally irritate them with his puppy energy. He hasn't been around children, but foster would guess he'd be OK. Gus has a healthy appetite and eats well. He’s a wonderful pup who just needs a little time and patience to blossom into a loyal companion.
