Benny is a handsome 4-4 1/2 year old neutered Australian Cattle Dog mix, weighing around 45-50 pounds. He's incredibly sweet and has a huge love for water and playing Frisbee – he could catch one for hours! Benny is already crate trained and potty trained, and he’s up to date on his shots and heartworm negative. He was sadly left at a rural Texas shelter through no fault of his own. While he previously had an adoption, it didn't work out due to improper introductions to other dogs. Benny enjoys car rides and doesn't suffer from any separation anxiety when left alone. He’s very active but not hyper, and would make a fantastic companion for an active individual or runner.

Ideal Home

Benny would thrive in an active home where he can get plenty of exercise and playtime, especially if you enjoy throwing the Frisbee! He enjoys playing with other dogs, both male and female, of medium to large size.

Ongoing Health

Benny is up to date on his shots and is heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Benny is crate trained and potty trained. He previously had an issue with other dogs due to improper introductions, so ensuring proper, slow introductions to any resident dogs in his new home will be key to his success.
