Meet Nina, also known as Miss Buttered Roll! This sweet girl is estimated to be around 2 years old and is a delightful mix of breeds, possibly including hound, boxer, and Beagle. Nina is the epitome of a loving companion, her sole desire being to shower her humans with affection and receive it in return. She's a "respectful Velcro dog," happy to be by your side, following you from room to room and settling nearby while you go about your day. Her squishy body, adorable rolls, and caramel coat with white markings make her incredibly endearing.
Ideal Home
Nina would prefer a home environment over apartment living due to her excitement and occasional barking when seeing other dogs on leash. She enjoys the company of other dogs and could do well with a calm canine companion or as the only dog, receiving all the attention. While not formally tested with children, her gentle and affectionate nature suggests she could be a wonderful family dog. We are happy to arrange kid testing for interested adopters. Cat testing can also be arranged for families with feline friends.
Ongoing Health
Nina is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP vaccine with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also tested negative for heartworm and has been treated if needed.
Training & Support
Nina can get excited and pull on leash when she sees other dogs, but she is much more relaxed once proper introductions are made. We recommend thoughtful introductions with any resident dogs. Our team of trainers on staff provides extensive behavioral assessments and support to help prepare our dogs for their new homes.

Transporation
Nina is located in Texas and can be transported to various drop-off locations nationwide, including WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. Transport includes real-time tracking, photo updates, and a private Facebook event page for adopters. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
