Kilo

Kilo is a charming 5-year-old English Bulldog who weighs about 55lbs. He's a playful boy who is friendly with most people he meets. While he hasn't had much experience with children or cats, he can be a bit unsure around other dogs. With some gentle introductions and positive reinforcement, we're confident Kilo will gain more confidence in his canine friendships. He enjoys leisurely strolls on leash, though he can be a bit stubborn and prefers shorter walks, which is typical for his breed. Back at home, Kilo is a calm companion who loves his naps and is content to relax. He's already crate trained and pee pad trained, but he'll need a little help learning to do his business outside, as he hasn't had many opportunities for outdoor potty breaks. Kilo's favorite things include bacon, cheese, receiving butt scratches, and playing with his rope toys.

Ideal Home

Kilo would thrive in a home where he can relax and enjoy his naps. He hasn't been around children or cats, so a home without them, or one that can provide a slow and careful introduction, would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Kilo has cherry eye in both of his eyes, which will require surgery. He also experiences chronic ear infections that will need ongoing monitoring and care.

Training & Support

Kilo is already crate and pee pad trained. He will need further training to consistently go to the bathroom outside. Gentle encouragement and patience will go a long way in helping him build confidence around other dogs.
