Josie

Josie is a sweet female Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix, born around January 2016. She's a survivor who came to us from a situation where her owner, an elderly gentleman, could no longer care for his many dogs. Thankfully, Josie and her companions are now safe and ready for a fresh start. She's spayed, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccinations, making her all set for her new adventure.

Ideal Home

Josie is a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and older children. She'd likely do best in a home where she can have canine or feline company, and where kids are old enough to understand her needs.

Ongoing Health

Josie is currently healthy, spayed, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.

Training & Support

We don't have specific information on her training history, but with her history, a little patience and positive reinforcement will go a long way in helping her settle into her new home.
