Duncan

Duncan is the sweetest little boy, approximately 1 year old and weighing in at 19 lbs. He's a typical multiple breed mix with a lot of Chihuahua! Duncan loves to play with his squeaky toys and enjoys lots of petting and attention. He's a quiet, well-behaved dog who seems to be pretty well house-trained and does pretty well on a leash, though he could use a little more training. He gets along with all the other dogs he's met and would make a wonderful companion.

Ideal Home

Duncan would thrive in a home that can provide him with plenty of attention and playtime. We do not adopt to anyone with children under the age of 8 years.

Ongoing Health

Duncan tested positive for heartworms when he was rescued, but he has been treated with The American Heartworm Society protocols. We typically find that dogs test negative for heartworms in 4 to 6 months.

Training & Support

Duncan is pretty well house-trained and does pretty good on a leash, but he could benefit from a little more training.
