About Lyla

Meet Lyla, a four-year-old sweetheart with a gentle soul and a heart full of love to give! Lyla is a wonderfully well-mannered dog who has already mastered the art of being a great companion. She's house-trained, crate-trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and is ready to settle into a peaceful forever home. Lyla can be a little shy when meeting new people, preferring to observe from a slight distance before approaching. However, once she feels comfortable and safe, she blossoms into a devoted and affectionate furry friend who loves nothing more than snuggling up close. She's also a dog who thrives with canine company – she gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is unfazed by cats, often paying them little mind. A confident doggy sibling in her new home would be a huge asset, helping Lyla feel more secure and encouraging her to embrace new experiences. While Lyla has been around children, she would do best in a calm environment with older children or adults who understand and respect her need to build trust at her own pace. She's a low-barker and generally takes life in stride. Lyla's ideal home wouldn't require a fenced yard, as her leash-walking skills mean daily walks and adventures provide all the exercise she needs. Adopting Lyla means gaining a loyal, loving best friend whose devotion feels truly earned.

Ideal Home

Lyla would thrive in a calm household where she can build trust at her own pace. She would do best with older children or adults who understand her initial shyness. A home with another confident dog would be ideal for her.
