Her foster describes her as affectionate, lively, and bold. She likes people and gets along with other dogs, seeming to understand their social cues. Polly is extremely food motivated and will snatch food from other dogs or even from your hands or plate! She eats separately from other dogs because she wants to eat all the food. She is an excellent dog for sleeping on the human bed and rarely barks. Polly enjoys toys and playing fetch, and her zoomies are legendary. She enjoys and seeks out human company, loving to be petted and held.
Ideal Home
Polly thrives in a home with people who can manage her food-motivated behaviors. Due to her tendency to snatch food, we will not adopt her to families with young children.
Ongoing Health
Polly is vaccinated, will be microchipped, and will be spayed on July 29th. She will be ready for her new life shortly after.
Training & Support
Polly is about 70% house-trained and may have accidents on the rug, though she shows guilt afterward. Leash training is a work in progress, as she is not yet familiar with it. She is on her way to becoming the ideal fur companion!
