Chuck is a handsome 1-year-old Blue Heeler mix weighing 41lbs. He's the total Heeler package: smart, athletic, loyal, and just the right amount of mischievous to keep life exciting. Chuck's journey began with a need for a fresh start, but his luck turned around when he entered foster care. Now, this happy and thriving pup is ready to find his forever family.

Chuck is a curious and energetic boy who's always up for an adventure. He loves to feel like he has an important job, whether that's hiking, playing fetch, learning new tricks, or simply shadowing his favorite people. He bonds quickly and is eager to be your loyal sidekick.

Ideal Home

Chuck is looking for an active home that understands the needs of his breed and is excited to help him continue growing into the amazing companion he's meant to be. He'll thrive with consistency, positive reinforcement, and a family that enjoys working with such a smart breed.

Ongoing Health

Chuck is a young adult and is up-to-date on vaccinations. He is neutered.

Training & Support

Chuck is eager to learn, highly food motivated, and incredibly bright, making training both fun and rewarding. He walks well on leash and would love a family that enjoys staying active. Chuck is dog-friendly and enjoys having canine friends to wrestle and play with. He'd be happy to have another playful dog in his forever home, though it's not a requirement as long as he gets plenty of exercise, enrichment, and socialization. We do not know how he does with cats.
