Meet Trooper!
Trooper is a handsome 2 1/2-year-old, 60-pound pup who's looking for a quiet companion to share his days with. He's a gentle soul who loves to be by your side, whether you're working, napping, or just relaxing. Trooper is incredibly smart and already knows commands like "stay," "come," "lay down," and "quiet." He's housebroken, kennel-trained, and doesn't shed, making him a very low-maintenance friend. He walks beautifully on a leash, rides calmly in the car, and is happiest when he's with his favorite person. Trooper responds well to kindness and consistency, and he thrives in an environment where he feels safe and loved.
Ideal Home
Trooper would love a home where he can be your shadow and doesn't have to spend long hours alone, as he can experience separation anxiety. He's looking for a true companion who will appreciate his quiet presence and deep devotion.
Ongoing Health
Trooper is neutered and vaccinated, and he's all set to go to his new home.
Training & Support
Trooper is already house-trained, kennel-trained, and knows several basic commands. He walks well on a leash and rides calmly in the car. He has done well with other dogs and ignores barking dogs on walks. His protective instincts are easily redirected due to his excellent listening skills.

Transportation
Trooper is currently located at our Rescue Ranch near Houston, TX. He can be brought closer to your home via our rescue transport service, which travels through areas like yours once a month. The adoption fee is $395, plus $30 for a health certificate and $260 for transport. Once your application is approved, we can arrange a FaceTime session to introduce you. Transport involves scheduled air-conditioned vans driven by a team of two drivers. You will be included in a group chat to track your dog's journey in real time, with updates on their exact location and estimated arrival time. While drivers do their best to stay on schedule, factors like traffic and weather can cause delays, and you will be kept informed of any changes. Dogs on transport are crated for safety and stop for necessary breaks.
