Jade is a young, wiggly, and beautiful Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix who is brimming with heart. She's a happy, social, and people-loving pup who adores being close to her humans and soaking up affection. Jade is also a playful girl who enjoys games of fetch and approaches everything with enthusiasm. She's currently living with six other dogs and two cats and fits right in, drawing confidence from being around them. Jade would do best in a home with another friendly, playful dog to be her companion and playmate. She's respectful and gentle with cats, and would do well with a dog-savvy cat who can confidently set boundaries.
Ideal Home
Jade is an intelligent and driven dog who thrives with structure, enrichment, and mental stimulation. She needs a home that understands and appreciates the needs of a working dog, with puzzle toys, training sessions, games of fetch, and daily physical activity. A home with a yard where she can safely stretch her legs and burn off energy is ideal.

Jade is current on all vaccinations and has been spayed.
Training & Support
Jade is still working on her leash manners and can get excited when seeing other dogs, sometimes barking or pulling. This is due to her social energy and enthusiasm, not reactivity. Consistent, positive training will help her improve. She may be a bit unsure in new environments initially and looks to other animals for reassurance, but her confidence grows once she settles in.

Transporation
Jade is currently fostered in Texas and can be transported to various locations across the US and Canada. Transportation includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). There is an $87 surcharge for transportation due to rising costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
