Meet Jasper, a sweet and shy girl who came to Nakoma alongside her brothers and sisters. She may be unsure of new people at first, but once she feels safe and comfortable, her gentle and loving personality shines through.

Jasper is happiest with familiar people and dogs she trusts. She’ll need a patient, encouraging family willing to give her time to come out of her shell. With love and patience, Jasper has wonderful potential to blossom into a devoted companion.

Jasper would thrive with a family that can provide patience, time, reassurance, and encouragement as she gains confidence. She enjoys being around trusted people and dogs.

Ongoing Health

Her $800 adoption fee includes vaccinations for rabies, leptospirosis, distemper, infectious hepatitis/adenovirus, parvovirus, parainfluenza, and Lyme; bloodwork testing for heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia, and Anaplasma; deworming; spay/neuter; and microchipping.

Training & Support

Jasper is house trained. Each pup goes home with a leash and collar, a toy, and a small bag of kibble. Nakoma Rescue provides individualized care and is open about each dog’s needs and personality.
