Sugar Plum

Meet Sugarplum! She is a very sweet, timid young girl who is learning that the world can be a safe place. Sugarplum came to us pregnant at Christmas of 2024, and through no fault of her own, she did not receive proper socialization as a puppy. Because of this, she can be fearful in new situations and is considered a flight risk.

Ideal Home

Sugarplum will need a patient, understanding adopter who is committed to helping her build confidence at her own pace. She must have another dog in the home, as she takes great comfort in canine companionship and thrives when she can follow the lead of a confident dog. A calm home and a securely fenced yard are ideal for her.

Ongoing Health

Sugarplum has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She is heartworm negative and maintained on monthly flea/tick preventatives.

Training & Support

Sugarplum is crate trained and housebroken, but still needs consistent outdoor breaks. She enjoys her toys once she feels secure. With time, structure, and kindness, she will become a deeply loyal and loving companion.

Transporation

Sugarplum is currently in boarding in Nashville, TN. Transportation to approved adopters may be available.
