Jolene is a beautiful and brave Retriever/Shepherd mix puppy who was found with her mom and siblings on a Houston bayou. This little explorer is ready to find her forever home where she can play, cuddle, and grow up loved. Jolene is full of life, playful, curious, and loves to wrestle, chase, and play tug-of-war with her dog friends. She thrives with a canine companion and feels most secure when she has another pup by her side. With other dogs, she's balanced and respectful. She even lives peacefully with a cat, proving just how adaptable she is! While she may be cautious in new situations, Jolene adjusts quickly and is very eager to please. She's easy to train, responds beautifully to gentle redirection, and listens well. She's mostly potty trained, crate trained, and is comfortable being handled. Jolene is social, affectionate, gentle with toys, and shares nicely. She's apartment adaptable with regular walks and has moderate energy, enjoying playtime without needing endless exercise.
Ideal Home
Jolene would do well in just about any home, but she'd be happiest with another pup to grow and play with. Homes with children 10 years and over are recommended to ensure the best fit for both the pets and families involved.
