Henry

Meet Henry! This happy-go-lucky fellow is estimated to be between 2 and 5 years old and weighs about 32 lbs. Henry is a smaller mixed breed who came to us as a stray with an old eye injury and a positive heartworm diagnosis. He has since undergone surgery to remove the injured eye and has successfully completed his heartworm treatment, making him ready for his forever home!

Henry's foster family describes him as one of the happiest dogs they've ever met, with a tail that never stops wagging. He loves to play with other dogs and is always eager to greet you. While he enjoys being outdoors, he's also content to relax indoors. You'd never guess he's overcome a rough start in life; he's incredibly sweet and will be deeply missed by his foster family. He's also very treat-motivated, which will be a great asset in his new home!

Ideal Home

Henry would do well in a home with dog-savvy children aged 10 and up, and he enjoys the company of other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Henry has had an enucleation (eye removal) and has completed heartworm treatment.

Training & Support

He is doing wonderfully with house training, crate training, and leash walking. His treat motivation makes him eager to learn.
