Meet Finn (yes, two N's... double the love!) Finn came to us with a story that breaks our hearts. He once had an owner, but when they moved, Finn was left behind. When a vet scanned his microchip thinking he was lost, the owner confirmed the truth—he was no longer wanted. Finn arrived skinny, with scratches and cuts that told a story of survival. But here's the beautiful part: Finn is thriving now. In foster care, this handsome redhead pittie mix (complete with the cutest little underbite) has blossomed into the most affectionate, loyal companion. We think because he never really got to bond before, Finn has decided that his people are his whole world, and he takes that job very seriously. Finn's Foster Mom says: He LOVES attention and is happiest snuggled on the couch. Total Velcro dog—if allowed, he'd hug your neck all day. Smart and responsive to corrections. Super fast and athletic (agility potential? YES!). Enjoys running, outdoor adventures, and would thrive with an active person. Crate trained and does great while the family is at work/school. Dog, people, and kid friendly. May do best as an only dog or with just one calm dog, since he likes being "the favorite."
Ideal Home
An active family or individual who wants a devoted sidekick—whether that's as your one-and-only or with just one other dog to share the spotlight. Finn didn't get chosen the first time, but we know his forever person is out there now.
