Gilley

Meet Gilley, a charming 9-year-old who's been with us at Save the Strays for a while. She's a bundle of energy when it comes to playtime, especially with her toys (though they don't last long!). When she's not chasing squirrels or enjoying a good romp, Gilley is content to relax by your side, soak up some belly rubs, and nap at your feet. She's a special girl who truly shines once she feels comfortable and loved.

Ideal Home

Gilley would thrive in a quiet home with one or two adults. She would do best as the only dog or with another laid-back dog of similar size. Because she's used to a rural environment with minimal visitors, she'll need a patient adopter who can help her adjust to new surroundings, sights, sounds, and people gradually.

Ongoing Health

Gilley is in good health and has no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Gilley can be a little nervous in new environments, like the vet's office, but is calm and submissive once there. She gets along with other dogs once she's had a chance to get acquainted. She's a loyal companion who rewards patience and understanding with deep affection.
