He's still learning the ropes and can get a little too excited, especially when he sees other dogs, which can result in some yippy sounds – but don't worry, he just wants to play! He also has a habit of nipping and jumping when he's excited, so he'll need a family who can guide him. Peanut is a smart cookie and walks well on a leash, though we recommend using both a harness and a martingale collar for extra security, as he's a bit of a runner and can be quick to dart off. He's a real firecracker, but underneath all that energy, he's a sweet doll who just wants to find his forever home.

Peanut would thrive in a home with older children who understand his playful exuberance. Due to his excitement and nipping tendencies, he would likely do best in a home without other dogs who may not tolerate his very enthusiastic play style. He's a runner, so a securely fenced yard and extra caution around doors and gates are essential to ensure he stays safe and doesn't take off on another adventure.
