She walks beautifully on a leash without pulling and enjoys simply being by your side. Sky is leash trained, crate trained, and fully house trained, making her an easy addition to a loving home. One of Sky's best qualities is her calm demeanor around other animals; she does not react to cats, squirrels, or similar small animals while out on walks. Sky was rescued from the streets of Houston, Texas, along with her siblings after they were abandoned as puppies. Thanks to her rescue, she has had the chance to discover what love and security feel like. Now she is ready to find a forever family that will give her the stable, patient, and loving home she deserves. Ideal Home
Sky can be a little nervous around strangers and may need a little time to feel comfortable with new people. Ideal adopters will enjoy outdoor activities, have a fenced backyard, and possess an understanding of the needs of rescued animals, including their need for protection and education. Experience in dog behavior and training, along with high tolerance and patience for rescued animals, is preferred.
Ongoing Health
Sky has been spayed/neutered and is up-to-date on DHPPI, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccines. She has been dewormed, tested negative for heartworm, and has a health certificate. She also comes with a vaccination booklet.
Training & Support
Sky is leash trained, crate trained, and house trained. However, the description notes that rescued pets often require ongoing support with house training due to the challenges of training many animals at once. Adopters should be prepared to continue reinforcing house training and provide patience and understanding for rescued animals.

Transporation
Sky is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas, and is available for transport to the East Coast and the Pacific Northwest. A transport fee of $400.00, paid by the adopter prior to departure, is required.
