Navajo, a 6.5-year-old, 75-pound Pitbull mix, is a sweet, affectionate, and easygoing pup looking for his forever home! He's the perfect blend of playful energy and relaxed companionship, happy to join you for a walk or curl up for a cozy evening. Navajo enjoys playing with other dogs, especially in smaller groups, and can be a bit of a cuddle bug. He's polite and non-reactive on leash, though he might pull a little when excited at the start of a walk. Navajo is fully house-trained and crate-trained, and doesn't show signs of separation anxiety, making him easy to live with. He loves meeting new people and has done well around children. Navajo is an excellent car rider and a favorite at the vet. He also has a charming habit of napping in unusual, cozy spots.
Ideal Home
Navajo would thrive in a stable, moderately active home that enjoys daily walks, occasional outings, and lots of affection. He doesn't require an ultra-active lifestyle, just consistent exercise, love, and companionship. He could do well as an only dog or with a compatible canine friend. Navajo would do best in a cat-free home due to a strong prey drive observed towards cats.
Ongoing Health
Navajo needed dental work upon arrival and had several damaged teeth removed, including his canines. His remaining teeth are healthy, and he still enjoys chewing his favorite bones.
Training & Support
Navajo has shown no resource guarding with food, treats, toys, or people. He is generally well-behaved and easygoing.
