Fred

Fred is a handsome boy with stunning red fur, and he knows it! He was found as a stray, likely wandering the streets for some time. Because of his past, Fred can be a little anxious when first meeting new people, but give him a few days to settle in, and he'll realize he's safe and loved. Once he trusts you, he's a friendly companion who excels at listening to commands and comes running when called. He's quiet in his kennel and doesn't mind spending time there.

Ideal Home

Fred is looking for an active individual or family who can help him burn off some of his puppy energy. He enjoys spending time in the backyard and would benefit from opportunities to run.

Ongoing Health

Fred is still working on his potty training and does well with frequent opportunities to go outside. He has a tendency to "snack" and will search for food, so his foster mom has been keeping his food put up.

Training & Support

Fred is learning to walk on a leash and is still working on his doggie manners, especially around food. He likes other dogs, but would do best with a canine sibling who can help teach him proper etiquette.
