Menchie enjoys the simple pleasures – soft beds, delicious treats, and good belly rubs – but don't mistake her love for comfort as a lack of zest for life. In our Homeward Bound Program, Menchie was a model citizen, demonstrating excellent leash manners and a well-behaved demeanor around other dogs in a controlled environment. However, she's made it clear that in her forever home, she prefers to be your one and only furry friend, and trust us, she has more than enough love to go around! Menchie is incredibly affectionate and loyal, a true shadow who wants to be involved in every aspect of your life. She cherishes her walks, loves to snuggle, and thrives on being the center of your universe. When her excitement peaks, her playful, goofy side shines through, which can sometimes manifest as a bit of jumpiness or mouthing. For this reason, she'd do best in a home with children aged 8 and older who can appreciate her exuberance and help her continue to refine her manners. Ultimately, Menchie is seeking her perfect match: a loving home with a consistent routine, where her vibrant spirit is celebrated. Ongoing Health
All of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.
Training & Support
Menchie can be a little jumpy and mouthy when excited. She would benefit from continuing to practice her manners with guidance from her adoptive family. A martingale collar is required for Menchie.
