Rocco

Rocco is a 13-year-old pit mix with a heart full of love to give. He has a playful spirit and enjoys chasing balls, but his favorite pastime is snuggling up on the couch for endless pets and treats. Rocco greets everyone with a happy wiggle and is eager to shower his favorite humans with kisses. After spending his younger years chained up and then recovering from a serious accident, Rocco is ready for a comfortable and loving retirement home where he can finally experience the "Happily Ever After" he deserves. He is a true "mama's boy" who will offer unconditional love in return for a chance at a happy life.

Ideal Home

Rocco would thrive in a home where he can relax and be pampered. He is a solo dog and does best as the only canine companion, or with female dogs.

Ongoing Health

Rocco was found as a stray after being hit by a car. He sustained a leg laceration, broken teeth, and a dislocated hip. He has undergone surgery and is now healed, but these past injuries may require ongoing attention.

Training & Support

While Rocco is a sweet soul, his past experiences may mean he needs a patient and understanding adopter. He is a "baby" and craves love and attention.
