Foxy Brown

Foxy Brown is a 5-year-old Pit Bull mix who has made a remarkable recovery after arriving at the rescue underweight. She's a spirited girl with a lot of energy, but she also knows when it's time to wind down. Foxy loves going for walks, hiking, biking, and playing fetch with her favorite yellow squeaky ball. She walks politely on leash, and you'll have no trouble knowing when she's ready for a nap – she's very communicative! Foxy is a gentle girl when taking treats, with a wonderfully soft mouth.

Ideal Home

Foxy can get a bit overexcited when meeting new people or in stimulating situations. She's looking for a home where she can be the only dog and where there are no young children.

Ongoing Health

Foxy has fully recovered from her previous emaciated state. She is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Foxy is currently working on learning to calm herself before greetings and managing her excitement so she doesn't jump. She can also be a bit impulsive around other dogs, and is actively working on her social skills. Patience and continued positive reinforcement will be key to her success.
