Shiloh (Park Pup 2)

Shiloh is an almost 3-year-old mix of pit bull, Australian cattle dog, German Shepherd, and Labrador Retriever. As a puppy, he and his siblings were abandoned in a park. He was adopted once before, but through no fault of his own, Shiloh is now looking for a new home. He weighs 48 pounds, is neutered, and up-to-date on vaccines. Shiloh is house-trained and leash-trained, knows several commands, and is described as a sweet dog who enjoys cuddling.

Ideal Home

Shiloh is a high-energy dog and would do best in a home with active adults who have the time to work with him. He would probably do best with no children or only older children, as he hasn't had exposure to younger ones. He is very comfortable with women and warms up quickly to men once he is comfortable in his home. Shiloh does not get along with cats. He also protects his territory and doesn't like dogs approaching the fence.

Shiloh is neutered and up-to-date on vaccines.

Training & Support

Shiloh is house-trained and leash-trained and knows several commands. He is afraid of men when first meeting them, and will "yell" at them when out on a leash. He does warm up to men in the home. He needs positive reinforcement and patient introductions to men. He also needs continued work on his reactivity towards dogs at the fence.
