Meet Rex, your big, gray, gentle companion! Rex is a four-year-old silver-gray Pitty or Staffy mix with the softest face, the sweetest eyes, and one adorable white chest spot that looks like he's wearing a tiny tuxedo. While age and breed are our best guess with rescue dogs, what we know for certain is that Rex is an incredibly special boy with a heart as big as he is. His foster raves about him, saying Rex is always happy and truly goes with the flow of whatever the day brings. He approaches life with an easy, joyful attitude that makes him a pleasure to have around. Rex is a big, soft house hippo who knows how to chill.
Ideal Home
Rex is wonderfully apartment-friendly due to his quiet, gentle, and low-key nature. He enjoys his daily walks, but after that, he's happy to relax. He's lived with small children and is extremely gentle with them, and even a four-year-old can walk him on leash. Rex does wonderfully with other dogs of all shapes and sizes and coexists beautifully. He would be happy as a solo dog, soaking up all the love as someone's one and only, or with a medium to low-energy, respectful dog companion. We are happy to do further cat testing if he seems like a good fit for your home.
Ongoing Health
Rex is fully vetted and ready for his forever home.
Training & Support
Rex is fully potty trained and crate trained, making him an easy addition to a home. He enjoys his daily leash walks and walks nicely when you are moving. He loves toys, especially Kongs and a good game of tug of war, and often carries them around proudly. He is treat motivated and eager to please.
