Alvin

Alvin is a handsome boy who came to us with his eight siblings after being found dumped on a dirt road. This litter was very sick with parasites, but thankfully, they all survived. Alvin is now around one year old and weighs about 40 pounds. He's a total sweetheart with no reason to still be waiting for his forever home! Alvin is great with dogs of all sizes, cats, and children. He's a smart and eager-to-please pup who is playful but not overly energetic. He loves being outdoors and cherishes his people. Alvin is fully vetted and ready to start his new life.

Training & Support

Alvin is described as smart and willing to please. While new environments can sometimes lead to accidents, he is a quick learner.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Adoptions are not on a first-come, first-served basis.
• There is no fee to apply.
• All dogs have an adoption fee of $175, which includes a vet check, age-appropriate shots, dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies vaccine (if at least 16 weeks), and spay/neuter.
• Puppies and dogs are altered before adoption, a policy essential to our rescue efforts.
• Dogs not yet available for adoption due to vetting can be reserved with an approved application and a $50 non-refundable deposit, which is applied to the adoption fee.
