Meet Rocko, Small in Size Big in Snuggles!

Rocko is a 2 year old Shih Tzu who weighs 13 pounds and is just beginning to experience the care and comfort he has always needed.

Rocko came from a home of neglect and had not been receiving the grooming and basic care that his breed requires. He is settling into a much better chapter of life with curiosity and a gentle, happy spirit. Each day he is learning what it means to be safe, loved, and properly cared for.

He is a playful little guy who enjoys running and playing with other dogs of all sizes. Toys are still new to him, and he is just starting to figure out what they are and how fun they can be.

More than anything, Rocko is a snuggler! He is happiest when he can hop into a lap for attention, pets, and a cozy nap. If there is a human nearby, he is likely to be right there with them.

At night, he does well in a crate and settles in quietly for the evening. He also enjoys the comfort of sleeping in bed with his people when allowed, soaking up every bit of closeness.

Rocko is a sweet little companion who just wants to belong. With love, patience, and continued care, he is going to blossom into a truly devoted family dog! 🐾🐾💜
