About Diva

Diva is a year-old, spayed Lab mix weighing around 35 pounds. She's a playful, affectionate, and outgoing girl with a tail that's always wagging! Diva adores running and playing, especially with other dogs who can match her energetic spirit. She's just as happy exploring on her own as she is romping with a canine buddy. She walks politely on leash without pulling and is a joy to have on daily outings. Diva generally ignores cats but has been known to sneak a bite of their food if given the chance! While she hasn't lived with children in foster care, she is gentle and affectionate, and her foster believes she would do well with kids who are old enough to manage her enthusiasm. Diva is crate trained and does well for short periods, typically during meals or when her foster is away. She is very food motivated, which makes her eager to learn, but she should be fed separately to prevent her from trying to sneak extra treats from other dogs. However, she is happy to share her toys. Diva is outgoing, playful, smart, and affectionate, loving toys, cuddles, and meeting new people with a friendly, tail-wagging enthusiasm. She is still building comfort with car rides, so long adventures will require some patience and time. When corrected, Diva becomes vocal, howling as if she's arguing her side of the story – it's a charming and funny quirk!

Ideal Home

Diva would thrive in a home with another dog who shares her zest for playtime. An ideal home would also be one where someone is home most of the time to provide her with the structure, love, and activity she craves. She would do best with regular walks, plenty of playtime, and the chance to sleep close to her people.

Ongoing Health

Diva is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.
