Bruno is a 70 lb Terrier mix with a heart of gold! This sweet boy was rescued after being found running down a busy Houston freeway, and now he's ready for a second chance at the quiet, loving life he deserves. At around 6 years old, Bruno is the definition of a gentleman – friendly, affectionate, and well-mannered. He loves people, greets everyone with a wag, and would be perfectly happy spending his days curled up on the couch with his favorite humans. He enjoys kisses, car rides, and leisurely walks where he can take in the sights and smells at his own pace. Bruno is calm, quiet, and affectionate, and has no escape tendencies or destructive habits. He has a moderate energy level, enjoying daily walks but also loving to relax.
Ideal Home
Bruno is looking for a loving, predictable home where he can enjoy life surrounded by people who adore him. He is best suited as an only dog or with a laid-back female companion. Cats and small animals are not a good match for him. Homes with children 10 years and over are recommended to ensure the best fit for both the pets and families involved.

Bruno is a healthy boy with no known ongoing health conditions.
Training & Support
Bruno is fully potty trained, crate trained, and respectful in the home. He walks nicely on a leash with occasional reminders. While he is confident and social, he adjusts quickly to new environments.
